Welcome To Our Website!
The Luton Churches Education Trust is a registered charity formed in 1993 to work with young people in our town. The vision we share is to 'reach out to the out of reach'. In other words, making a positive difference to young people in Luton.
At the heart of LCETs work lie three words, which sum up the overall aim behind our schools and social inclusion work.
Share To share the value of spiritual life with teenagers through our Christian faith.
Care To care for teenagers who have emotional, social or any other needs.
Dare To challenge the church to continue to change to meet the needs of teenagers.
These aims are now achieved through 3 areas of work:
Work in local secondary schools helping young people reach their spiritual, moral, social and cultural potential through both curricula and excurricula input.
Increasing the capacity for young people to overcome specific life issues: anger and conflict, being in care, self worth, ADHD, teenager pregnancy and self harm.
Our building is open to any young person to hang out, get advice, or take part in our creative arts programme. Take a virtual tour of our centre and see for yourself! |

| |
| LCET funds work through regular and one-off donations
from individuals, churches and others. If you'd like
to support our work you can e-mail
our administrator for more information or download
a standing order form for regular giving.
Thankyou for sharing with us in this work. |

“The Luton
Churches Education Trust is a bona fide organisation which
works imaginatively and creatively to ensure the spiritual
well-being of pupils in Luton schools. It always wishes
to work in partnership with schools, helping pupils develop
personal qualities of the highest order. I am enormously
impressed by the energy and enthusiasm which LCET brings
to everything it undertakes and commend them to you most
warmly.”- The Rt. Revd. Christopher Herbert,
Bishop of St Albans.
