Our Board of Trustees has ultimate responsibility for LCET and oversees all aspects of our work.
The Board is constituted to represent our stakeholders and provide the skills, knowledge and experience needed to help LCET achieve its aims and make a positive difference to the lives of young people.
In fulfilling this role, The Board seeks to meet the requirements of The Code of Governance for the Voluntary and Community Sector.
The Code, developed by the National Governance Hub and now overseen by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, is based on seven key principles:
Board leadership
The Board in control
The high performance Board
Board review and renewal
Board delegation
Board and trustee integrity
Board openness
The Board of Trustees has fully adopted the practices and principles laid out in the Code.
