We’re looking for someone to combine working as a chaplain in a local school with developing our cafe and chapel, offering a spiritual space for young people outside the church. It includes developing modern liturgical content and we need someone with the passion and skills to connect with teenagers in this creative and ground breaking way. Based in Luton. LCET offers a dynamic and different year out experience as part of our team reaching out to young people in Luton.

You could work alongside our schools team as pastoral chaplains in local secondary schools. Or get involved in our social inclusion programme helping with the groups we offer for young people struggling with issues like anger, bereavement and self harm as well as helping run our cafe and arts centre.

Our intern programme is a chance to make a real difference to young people, as well as growing in your own faith, experience and skills.
