Making a referral
We accept requests for a young person to join a group from a wide variety of sources, including most importantly, young people themselves. Parents, social services, GP’s, Connexions, schools and other voluntary sector organisations may also refer a young person to us. At present we work with young people aged 11 to 19 living or being educated in Luton and we are unfortunately unable to accept referrals for young people outside of this age group or area.
Being part of a group is voluntary so it's important that the young person has agreed to the referral when it is made on their behalf. We'll always start by meeting them in person to explain what the programme involves and ensure the group is appropriate to meet their needs.
There is also a referral form to fill out, which includes space for the young person to explain what they want to get out of the programme.
